No one answered the phone or called me back yet.

This is all I get. The tv is connected.

The fire remote has *** on top so I pressed the first one. But it has no button in the back nor in the spot where the batteries are.

I need this fire stick to work as it has a private app on it that I cannot get at the App Store

I called customer service and got hung up on??? Wtf, I'm calling the BBB.

I never complain on websites like these but I am FURIOUS at the moment!!! Bought a Roku Streaming Stick Plus, but everything on Roku said cannot commect due to HDCP!

WTF?! My tv is brand new. I spent hours unplugging and restarting the crap. Then sat on the phone with their “customer service” which is obviously some idiot in a foreign country who was raised by a mountain goat.

I got so frustrated I returned it and bought the downgraded version assuming the issue might be my tv. I downgraded to the regular hd Roku Streaming Stick... SAME PROBLEM!!! Actually worse because install took forever, had to reset the device multiple times...

STILL DOESN’T WORK. I have a masters degree in computer sciences... IF I CAN’T GET THIS TO WORK THERE IS A PROBLEM. DO NOT BUY ROKU!!!!

I REPEAT DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS HORRIBLE CRAP. BAD PRODUCT, BUGGY SOFTWARE, USELESS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I've had the same problem as pissed consumer. Roku is a short lived company with the customer support they supply.

Their streaming stick is OK but the StreamingBar (sound bar) is just plain garbage. It is so bad Roku doesn't even want it back.

Can't find anybody to help with channel streaming problems on the ROKU channel. Other channels work fine on this damn site.

Not even a *** chat bot. But they will find someone with a predefined list of text for getting their money out of you.

How many people subscribe to this and without recourse? Ridiculous.

Taking issue with a company is no reason to disrespect a working person and their perceived culture. Additionally, the reviews content, grammar and sentence structure speaks adversely to their claim of possessing a Masters Degree.

oh roku most definitely does suck and it is quite possible that their customer service reps overseas may very well have been raised by mountain goats. the state-side corporate customer service is not any better and is quite possible that breed of corporate *** may have been raised by vampires.

This is the craziest customer service department I've ever dealt with in my life. I don't know how they run a business.

I needed a simple billing error fixed, and it's still not resolved over a month later. They don't seem to understand anything.

I have had nothing but headaches with Roku. There is no real technical/service department, customer service does not exist unless it's about money.

I thought it would be easy to watch the Superbowl, but I've given up; I'll see the results on some news station that Roku will allow me to watch. The tv. stations black out regularly, the channel description constantly pops up halting what you are doing, or just plain getting in the way. Tomorrow I throw the whole thing away and go back to cable or dish, or...

Roku has made watching something on the tube frustrating, time-consuming, and unpleasant!!!!!

Don't waste your time or sanity on this company and its poor product. Let THEM have the ulcer.

I simply called to cancel my subscription and after the guy told me I had to download an app to cancel, I questioned why it's so hard and complicated. He suddenly started to yell and was being really rude.

So I asked for his name and he said, 'Why should I give you my name?' After arguing for 10 seconds about his name, he started to call me the N-word multiple times. I hung up and called back to get that person's name. Once I got his name, 'Eric Wilson,' I asked to speak to a higher-up or manager. I was connected to 'Jordan.' Once I started to explain my situation, Jordan hung up on me!

This place is ridiculous and complicated. It's 2025.

To cancel my subscription, I should be able to click one button, not download a whole other app! And having to deal with people like this, they need some help.

In the time it took to call and then later write this piece of fantasy, you could have canceled about 500 people's subscriptions You can cancel on the website. It takes about 4 easy takes and can be done in less than 60 seconds.

You can google it in about 3 seconds. If you signed up for a subscription to, let's say HULU, through Roku, then you cancel through the Roku account. If you signed up for HULU through the HULU website, you cancel on the HULU website.

I don't believe anyone called you the N word but I do believe you tried hard to make that happen. Ask a responsible adult to cancel the subscription for you.

I have purchased 2 indoor cameras. When setting up the camera, the wall plate had a missing hook that the camera hangs on, and just one hook would not hold it securely.

This morning, I spent nearly 40 minutes in a chat session with two different people, and neither one could help me get a replacement part. That being said, I will not recommend Roku just for their customer service. I was going to use Roku for my outdoor security, but I'm not really sure now.

Maybe I will go with Night Owl and just throw your stuff in the trash. I am not a happy customer.

I was looking for billing information. And I got everything else including $35.00 taken from my account!

I didn't understand at first, I'm a little older and sometimes understanding the technical world is hard. But then I understand why the elderly is taken the advantage of pricing things; $35 to answer my question that's absurd and its robbery. This isn't good customer service at all! I like finally learning how to stream TV apps and channels.

That wasn't easy to me at all! I have been watching cable, ever since it came out. So that's why it took a minute to learn how to use different apps to find my TV shows and not being charged excessive rates my cable bill was almost as much as my rent was! But then I felt like OK.

The price is cheaper, but then you have to pay for everything else so streaming is more like à la carte than anything else! No tells you verbally about these different types, of issues with these companies.

They play on that and your ignorance of not knowing how it works and because of that, I can charge you a price, or a membership fee.

I take full responsibility for not knowing, how this really works (Billing) and common questions. Applaud I am !

Roku provides collect funds and provide services for multiple streaming channels such as Paramount, BET plus etc. However if there is a problem they have limited capability to resolve it.

Roku collects funds and provides services for multiple streaming channels such as Paramount, BET Plus, etc. However, if there is a problem, they have limited capability to resolve it.

For example, I have two different services that I paid in full for the year. They cannot offer an upgrade or return my partial refund on one without me paying for another whole year. On the other account, they cannot provide me a refund unless I use the original card, which has been lost. They told me to work it out with my bank.

These are not unique problems, and Roku is not willing to fix them. They have terrible customer service!

You've cracked the case, Sherlock. It doesn't benefit the consumer to pay for streaming services through Roku!

Roku won't be able to help with any billing or streaming issues. When you are not on your Roku device, you will be unable to watch your streaming service. There is NO Reason to use Roku as the middleman.

Subscribe directly to HULU, Paramount, whoever, so you can deal with them directly when there are problems. Don't invite Roku into the mix.
