In the situation with Sling I cancelled the account and then recently realized I was still being charged. Customer service at Sling said it was their policy to not give refunds unless I had a cancellation email confirmation from them which I did not-did not know to watch for after I cancelled with the ROKU tv control.

I contacted ROKU and they told me they could not give me the information about my account because it was confidential- really? Now disputing through the bank. Two hours with Sling and ROKU reps. Second situation involves a charge for Acorn tv but I am not able to access the channel....WIll call ROKU again today.

Horrible customer service so I am not expecting much. BUYER BEWARE check and recheck your orders, and cancellations with bank statements.

Reason of review: Return, Exchange or Cancellation Policy.

Monetary Loss: $70.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Roku Pros: Initially, Netflix availability, Product when it works, Would like the product if it worked the way its supposed to.

Roku Cons: Customer service sucks, Cutomer service.

You can go to Sling's website and cancel your subscription there. Sling and Roku are two different companies, canceling Roku does not inform Sling that you want to cancel them. Are you saying that you do not know how to check your emails?
